Updated U.S. men’s hockey schedule in Sochi Winter Olympics:
Thursday, Feb. 13 USA 7, Slovakia 1
Saturday, Feb. 15 USA 3, Russia 2 (shootout)
Sunday, Feb. 16 USA vs. Slovenia 7:30 a.m. TV: NBCSN
Now that Team USA has two victories in Group A, it is unlikely that the Americans will have to participate in Tuesday’s qualification round. After Sunday, they will likely next play on Wednesday, Feb. 19 in the quarterfinals against a To Be Determined opponent.
Team USA fans will likely have toset their DVRs (orskip work)for Team USA’s run next week as most games take place prior to noon in the U.S. Eastern time zone (Sochi is nine hours ahead of EDT).
