For bosses wondering why so many employees are calling in sick or are about to have very unproductive days, I have two words for you: March Madness.
The first round of the NCAA Tournament tips off on Thursday afternoon with a dizzying 16 games of do-or-die basketball.
What makes the early portions of this tournament so magical is that along with this just being kids competing for the love of the game, the minnows of college basketball have an opportunity to play Cinderella for a day, facing off against some of the most recognizable blue-blood programs in the nation.
Whether it be checking out the next big NBA star or rooting for the underdog or getting lost in that 12-5 or 11-5 upset, there is something for everyone on the first day of the dance.
