The first Monday night of the NFL season features two MNF games, with the 2017 season kicking off with the New Orleans Saints at the Minnesota Vikings and the Los Angeles Chargers at the Denver Broncos. So what time does the Saints - Vikings and Chargers - Broncos Monday night game start?
The Saints and Vikings will kick off at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time with the game being broadcast on ESPN.
The Chargers and Broncos will kick off tentatively at 10:20 p.m., with the game also being broadcast on ESPN.

If there is an overlap in coverage on ESPN - which there likely will be given that most NFL games last three hours and 10 minutes - ESPN2 will broadcast the beginning of the Chargers and Broncos.
ESPN's typical Monday Night Football team of Sean McDonough and Jon Gruden will call the Saints and Vikings, while Beth Mowins and Rex Ryan will call the nightcap between the Chargers and Broncos. Mowins will become the first female announcer to call an NFL in 30 years on Monday night.
The first Monday night slate of games is a good one for ESPN as the Saints (7-9 in 2016), Vikings (8-8), Chargers (5-11) and Broncos (9-7) all have legit playoff aspirations.
