Who will win Eagles Patriots Super Bowl? Nearly all simulations say Pats

Who, will, win, Eagles, Patriots, Super Bowl, Pats

So, who is going to win the Super Bowl between the Eagles and Patriots? In five out of six simulations/studies (some not at all serious, some very serious), the New England Patriots came out winners over the Philadelphia Eagles. Here is a look at those studies.

Based on the number of playlists created by hometown fans to celebrate the game, Spotify predicts a New England Patriots win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Spotify has accurately predicted the winner three straight years.

Univeristy of Pittsburgh professor Kostantinos Pelechrinis ran 10,000 simulations of the game and claims to have had a 90 percent accuracy rate during the 2017 playoffs. Pelechrinis is predicting a 25-22 Patriots win over the Eagles.

The official Madden video game simulation also predicted a Patriots win over the Eagles by the score of 24-20.

Metro’s Kristian Dyer outlined Predictalator software last week as PredictionMachine.com ran 50,000 simulations. Out of those simulations, the Patriots won 60.7 percent of the time. All-time, the PredictionMachine is 57-29 in the NFL playoffs and got the winners of both conference championship games right this year.

On “Live with Kelly and Ryan” this week, the show had two pigs (yes, live pigs) respectively dressed in Patriots and Eagles garb. The Patriots pig was the clear victor.

The only prediction for the Eagles so far came from Amazon’s voice-controlled assistant Alexa. When asked, “Who is going to win the Super Bowl?,” Alexa says: “I’m flying with the Eagles with this one because of their relentless defense and the momentum they’ve been riding off their underdog status. E-A-G-L-E-S. Eagles.”
