Women's World Cup: The controversial penalty kick from US-Brazil (VIDEO)

This sequence almost cost America the chance to advance.

Per NBC Sports, "Brazil's Marta scored on a penalty kick - after Hope Solo's earlier save was called back after the referee ruled she moved early - as Brazil tied the United States 1-1 in the 67th minute of their World Cup quarterfinal match Sunday. The United States scored on an own goal by Brazil's Daiane in the second minute to take a 1-0 lead. The winner advances to play France in the semifinals Wednesday."

This is video of both PKs.

UPDATE: America just tied the game with less than two minutes left in extra-time. Game is going to PKs.

UPDATE II: And they've won. The U.S. women's team has advanced to the semifinals.
