A 37-year-old Vancouver man is in critical condition in hospital after being found stabbed in the chest in a Downtown Eastside alley early yesterday morning.
“Police officers found that the man had no pulse and performed CPR and immediate first aid,” said Const. Lindsey Houghton.
“A pulse was regained and B.C. Ambulance arrived, rushing the victim to hospital for emergency surgery.”
Officers set up containment and arrested a suspect, a 22-year-old New Westminster resident, in the 600 block of Quebec Street.
