Bryant is now fully recovered from his Achilles injury and there are several teams in the playoff mix that could use a boost and depth at the wide receiver position in the final few weeks of the regular season and into the postseason.

The Eagles are the most wide receiver needy team right now with the news that Alshon Jeffery is done for the season. Howie Roseman has been cycling receivers in and out of Lincoln Financial Field for the better part of a month now – so kicking the tires on the former Cowboys star wouldn’t hurt any.

Bryant could also be seen as something of an intimidation factor for Philly’s mega showdown with the Cowboys a week from Sunday. Other NFL teams have used this tactic in the past, signing players from the team they are about to face (Rex Ryan used to make former Patriots players honorary captains on game day when facing New England).

Bryant is quite in-tune to today’s NFL, watching just about every nationally televised game on and (of course) tweeting on it.

While watching the Eagles – Giants game on Monday night, Bryant tweeted, “Out of all people you leave Ertz open.”

Dez has also been slamming his former head coach, Jason Garrett, on social media in recent weeks concerning Steelers Dez Bryant NFL Trade Rumors Bills Eagles.

The Bills are another team that could use Bryant for the playoff stretch as Bryant would fit in nicely next to former teammate Cole Beasley. There’s also a little bit of back story here as Dez defended Beasley when Beasley signed with the Bills this past off-season.

Beasley took a subtle dig at the Cowboys upon signing, telling The Athletic: “A receiver in this offense is way more important than it was in my last offense. There’s a lot more variety in what I’m doing here.”

When Beasley received some backlash for the comments, Dez came to the rescue.

“Well he’s not wrong, so don’t criticize him for being honest. He didn’t say one negative thing about the Boys.”

The Steelers have also had their notable issues at receiver this season, and are desperate for more explosion with Duck Hodges throwing the ball.

Hodges has been limiting turnovers, but the Steelers still haven’t scored more than 24 points in a game in which he’s played. When Pittsburgh faces better defenses they’re going to need more options, and Dez is more than happy to play a secondary role in any offense.

“I’m not trying to go nowhere and be a starter on a team,” Dez tweeted in November concerning Steelers Dez Bryant NFL Trade Rumors Bills Eagles. “I want to contribute because I know I will be able to. I’m feeling good.”
