Stuff your face at the third annual Tour de Taco

Taco-lovers, unite. Are you ready to feast on the best tacos this city has to offer? Good, because the third annual Tour de Taco is back.

Grab your bike, your helmet and your appetite on Oct. 9 at 11 a.m. (no, that’s not too early for a taco, trust us) and and meet the folks from Brooklyn by Bike at the Grand Army Plaza ark in Brooklyn.

Here’s the deal: Riders will be hitting up five taco joints. As of right now the stops will include:

Los Hermanos, in Bushwick, La Esquina in Williamsburg, EL Globo in Corona, Roosevelt, a yet-to-be-determined spot in Sunset Park and the trucks on Roosevelt Ave. in Queens.

Brooklyn by Bike is limiting the spots to 75 people and it’s totally free. If some of you slackers show up and they’re over the limit, they won’t turn you away, but you will have to ride on your own.

Don’t get too excited by the word ‘free.’ Yes, the ride is free but Brooklyn by Bike isn’t picking up the tab. The tacos are all on you. A good estimation per taco is $5. Now, how many tacos you consume, that’s entirely up to you.

So who’s ready for the ultimate taco party? Register here.

And after the party, comes the after-party, obviously. Once you’ve stuffed your faces with tacos, head over to Dekalb Market to meet your fellow taco-enthusiasts.

Bon appetit, New York.
