Authorities are searching for a suit-wearing man who reportedly fled with bags of cash after a Bronx shootout stemming from an armored car robbery Tuesday.
An armored car guard was loading approximately $78,000 into a vehicle on Westchester Avenue in Soundview around 11 a.m., NBCreported, when the man in the suit approached, pulled a gun and demanded money. The armored car guards took cover before the man in the suit grabbed bags of cash and jumped into a red Honda that sped away.
The investigation is ongoing.
