Summer book lovin’

During the summer of 2007, most lovers of non-fiction were all atwitter about Christopher Hitchens’ “God is Not Great.” This summer, the writer returns to the spotlight with his memoir “Hitch 22,” which chronicles all the gory details on how Christopher Hitchens became, well, Christoper Hitchens. Anthony Bourdain’s “Medium Raw: A Bloody Valentine to the World of Food and the People Who Cook” traces the foulmouthed foodie’s path from chef to globe-traveling professional eater and drinker. Did someone say eating? This summer will also see the paperback release of cultural commentator Chuck Klosterman’s latest collection of essays, “Eating the Dinosaur.”
