Glitter is hitting the fan after mother of a “Toddlers and Tiaras” star, Isabella Barrett, filed a $30 million law suit against media outlets for sexualizing the 5-year-old’s video performance.
The articles from TMZ.com, The Huffington Post and London’s Daily Mail claimed her performance to LMFAO’s song “I’m Sexy and I Know It” was sexualized with her ‘gyrating in a nightclub and singing about her sex appeal’.
Originally the media outlets jumped on Barrett, for supposedly encouraging her daughter’s performance. However, the video shows it is the celebrity disc jockey hired for the event who encourages the girl’s performance, according to the New York Daily News.
