Police have arrested a suspect they say fatally pushed a Bronx man in front of a D train on Sunday morning.

Wai Kuen Kwok, 61, died after being pushed in front of a southbound D train at the 167th Street station. Kwok’s death was witnessed by his wife, police said.

Police previously released video surveillance of the suspect, Kevin Darden, who fled on to the street after allegedly pushing Kwok. He was apprehended by detectives on Tuesday evening in the 48th precinct, which includes the Tremont area of the Bronx.

He is still being questioned as a person of interest in the homicide, police said Tuesday night.

Darden, 34, is also wanted in an assault in the West 4th Street subway station on Nov. 6, when police said he pushed a 51-year-old man to the ground, causing a head and back injury.
