The NYPD is looking for a man who they claim threatened two people outside Penn Station before fleeing into the train station.
Around 1:25 p.m. on Monday, July 11, near the corner of 33rd Street and Eighth Avenue, a suspect yelled homophobic slurs at two men, aged 21 and 22, according to police.
When the victims confronted the man about what he said, he pulled out a box cutter and said he would kill them, authorities stated. The suspect then fled into Penn Station when the victims called 911.
Police described the suspect as a black man with dreads in his 40s who was approximately 5-foot-7 and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green shirt, dark pants and glasses.
