Suspects sought in Queens armed robberies

Police are searching for two armed suspects who targeted two victims for their cellphones in Queens.

Cops said the pair struck twice on Saturday in Flushing. The first incident occurred near 58th Road and 138th Street about 12:25 a.m. when the suspects approached a 22-year-old man, put him in a chokehold and displayed a firearm before taking his Samsung Galaxy cellphone and wallet.

About 20 minutes later, the suspects approached a male, 31, and female, 38, who were exiting their vehicle near 84th Drive and 148th Street and displayed a firearm. They took the victims’ iPhone, purse and wallet, and then fled the scene, police said.

Police released a video of the first incident.

The suspects are described as being between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-9, 18-20 years old with thin builds.
