Taking the suspenders on the road

Larry King, 77, might be off CNN, but that doesn’t mean he’s done with the gab-fest. It was announced yesterday that King will travel across the U.S. on a one-man show, “Larry King: Stand Up,” starting April 14 in Torrington, Conn. He’ll hit Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, New Jersey and Nevada, ending June 11 at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas. What, no Boca Raton?

The Associated Press reports that the show will give an inside look at King’s storied life and career, as well as include a question-and-answer period with audience members.

While we’re happy the championship news anchor has found an outlet for his talents by going on the road, there’s one obstacle he’ll have to overcome first: seeing over the steering wheel.
