1 Charlie Sheen and wife Brooke Mueller each filed for divorce separately this week in Los Angeles, according to People magazine. Mueller wants custody of their young, twin sons with visitation rights for Sheen, while Sheen wants joint custody, according to the filings. The troubled couple cite irreconcilable differences and acknowledge they’ve been separated since their violent Christmas Day fight in Aspen, Colo., last year. Sources tell TMZ the timing had less to do with Sheen’s recent incident in New York and more to do with him not wanting Mueller making their divorce fodder for her upcoming reality show.

2 After stepping down from her tour with the Jonas Brothers, Disney star Demi Lovato has checked herself into a treatment center for undisclosed reasons, her reps tell TMZ. “Demi Lovato left her tour early this weekend in order to seek medical treatment for emotional and physical issues she has dealt with for some time,” the statement reads. “Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help. She is doing just that.” Her reps emphasize that the treatment is not drug-related, and some sources speculate Lovato is dealing with an eating disorder.

3 The folks at PETA have reportedly offered to help pay for Lindsay Lohan’s rehab if she goes vegan, and sources say the troubled actress is considering it, according to Radar Online. “Lindsay loves animals, and looks at it as a ‘win-win’ since being a vegetarian is a healthier lifestyle that she is striving for,” a source says. “Lindsay would love it if PETA would offer to pay her entire rehab bill. However, she isn’t expecting that to happen, and is just grateful for the offer PETA has made.”

4 Katy Perry may have understood that Rihanna couldn’t make it to her wedding in India, but the Barbados-born singer isn’t so quick to forgive herself. “I will never ever forgive myself for that,” she tells Ryan Seacrest in a radio interview. “It was a crazy time, it was a crazy week. I’m switching management.” Rihanna says she was cautioned off attending because her new album needed promoting, which might have proved difficult in India: “There was no phone service in India and very-little-to-no Internet service, so it would have been a little irresponsible of me,” she says.
