1 “High School Musical” co-stars Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have called it quits after four years together, according to Gossip Cop. The split was “amicable” and came about once the pair acknowledged their relationship “wasn’t going to go further.” When asked by Details earlier this year about being in a relationship, Efron said, “Believe me, I wrack my brain thinking, ‘Why am I not out there playing the field?’ One of my buddies was like, ‘You have no idea what’s going on right now. You’re peaking on ecstasy and you’re watching TV.’ But it’s not in my heart.”

2 After a video showing Miley Cyrus smoking a bong hit the Internet, Dr. Drew Pinsky is worried about the Disney star, he tells Access Hollywood. “We know that she’s going to be acting out now because her family’s in trouble, so it’s not unusual to see depression manifesting as various kinds of acting-out behaviors,” Pinsky says. “If I had a child that was doing that or if I was advising a parent, I would say get professional help immediately.”

3 Nicolas Cage flew off the handle while in Romania to film his latest “Ghost Rider” film, and his entire 5 a.m. tirade was caught on tape, according to the Daily Mail. While most of what Cage screams at an unidentified man is unintelligible on the video, he’s heard yelling, “You want to kick me in the head? Go for it,” before storming off, only to return moments later and continue yelling. Cage was eventually escorted away by bodyguards.

4 Keith Middlebrook, who co-stars with Brad Pitt in the upcoming “Moneyball,” says it was clear who was in charge of the set on their movie: Pitt’s six kids. “There were toys and there were kids everywhere,” Middlebrook tells Us Weekly. “He does his scenes, then he hangs out with the kids and leaves.”
