Talking points: Richards: Pseudo lesbian

Denise Richards has teased that she had a lesbian affair with a fellow celebrity, though she draws the line at naming names. “I just met her through friends and work and stuff,” Richards tells Howard Stern during an interview while promoting her new memoir. “I was just curious. We were curious. She was a girly-girl. She’s beautiful. You would know who she is.”

Tim Gunn takes on Hillary

Tim Gunn doesn’t mince words when it comes to the fashion sense of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. “Why must she dress that way?” the “Project Runway” mentor tells George Lopez. “I think she’s confused about her gender [with] all these big, baggy menswear tailored pantsuits.” Despite his criticisms, though, Gunn still appreciates Clinton’s work: “I have great respect for her intellect and her tenacity and for what she does for our country in her governmental role,” he says. “I just wish she could send a stronger message about American fashion.”

Is ScarJo next?

Scarlett Johansson is the latest celebrity to catch the eye of the military, as Sgt. Dustin L. Williams has invited the actress to the Marine Corps Ball. Sadly, though, the “Avengers” star will be too busy with work to attend. “I feel incredibly honored to have been invited to the Marine Corps Ball,” Johansson says in a statement to Zap2It. “Sgt. Williams: Unfortunately, due to prior commitments, I will not be able to attend the Ball with you this year — but I am sending you a case of Moet and Chandon with gratitude.” Both Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake have already accepted invitations, while Betty White politely declined. The Marine Corps Ball will be held Nov. 10.
