Prince William has gifted his new wife, Princess Catherine, with yet another prized item from his late mother Princess Diana’s jewelry collection:?a pair of diamond and sapphire earrings, according to the Daily Mail. “Now that they’re married, William wanted her to have some of his mother’s favorite pieces,” a source says. Diana was in fact quite fond of the earrings and wore them often before her death in 1997.
Lohan: Can’t keep a good drunk down
Lindsay Lohan seems to be slipping back into bad habits, if a night out in Hollywood is any indication. The troubled starlet hit up a friend’s birthday, showing up sober and only ordering juice from the waitstaff, but by the end of the night “she could barely stand,” an eyewitness tells Radar Online. The source says Lohan sneaked gulps of other people’s drinks while passing them on and taking shots of vodka on the sly. Lohan was later spotted holding onto curtains for support and screaming into her cell phone before she left the club around 2 a.m. “When she got to her Escalade, she just collapsed into it,” the source says. Lohan, who is still on probation, is legally allowed to drink.
Celebrating sans husband
Divorce or no divorce, Jennifer Lopez was all smiles in Miami this weekend, celebrating her 42nd birthday with her mother, sister and a massive entourage, according to People magazine. “Jennifer looked radiant in a purple and silver evening dress,” a source says. “And when they brought out her birthday cake after the meal, she began to sing. She was very happy. The whole group had a blast, staying for hours. They closed down the restaurant.”
