We can’t help but feel kind of sorry for Tareq Salahi. We also can’t help but feel like he is kind of an idiot.
First, he goes bananas when his attention-loving wife turns up “missing” and basically issues his own version of an Amber alert by declaring to all media that will listen that Michaele was kidnapped or abducted.
Well, turns out she was just having a passionate love affair with Journey guitarist Neal Schon.
In an interview that aired last night on E!, Salahi said he was in disbelief over the “double life” Michaele was leading. We’re not sure why he was so flabbergasted that his wife could sneak around like this. Did he forget that he snuck into a White House state dinner with her?
“It’s been shocking to all of us,” he said. “Her friends, my friends… we don’t get it.”
Tareq also did not “get it” when he found an obscene photo of Neal Schon’s junk in the email account he shared with his wife prior to learning of the affair.
“I didn’t understand, why in the world would Neal Schon would be sending a picture of his penis to our account.”
Sure, many of us would have the same initial thought upon finding a picture of Neal Schon’s penis in our email accounts. However, the majority of us would probably also do a little investigating by at least confronting our spouse (who shares the email account) if THEY had any idea why Neal Schon’s penis was in our inbox.
Not Tareq Salahi, though. To him, it was just a peculiar discovery that remained an enigma until he later learned that his wife had not in fact been kidnapped, but was just having wild sex with Neal Schon while he was on tour in Tennessee. Only then did that penis pic prove to be the missing puzzle piece.
Tareq has lashed out by calling Michaele’s recent actions something “a groupie slut does.” He’s also filed for divorce, claiming:
Over the objections of me, she continually exposes our friends and acquaintances to her adulterous relationship and has flaunted the same throughout the community, the nation and indeed the world, and thus caused me to suffer great harm, humiliation and embarrassment.
Wow, really– the world?? That’s a lot of people that he’s assuming care about his made-for-TV marriage and Neal Schon’s penis.
