Teen in critical after assault in Everett, following house party. The unnamed victim is reportedly in critical, at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she was taken after the resident of an Appleton St. home heard and scream and found her outside at 6:45 a.m. Saturday. “It’s very emotional. It’s very upsetting to see a person lying there. It could have been my own kids,” homeowner Jeff D’Amico told local ABC.
“I thought it was someone who passed, right there, meaning they were dead.”
The woman is believed to have come from a nearby house party.
“Unfortunately, this may have been an assault on someone who had been drinking with a group of people at a nearby home and who may have been attacked after leaving that party,” District Attorney Marian Ryan said in a statement. “Investigators are speaking with individuals who were with the victim in an effort to form a complete picture of what led up to the victim being outside and on the ground when she was discovered.” Cameras from a nearby park reportedly may aid the probe.
