Teens facing theft, weapons charges

Four male youths will appear in court facing weapons and stolen property charges after an incident early yesterday morning.

Just after 1 a.m., RCMP officers responded to reports of two males wearing bandanas and hoodies and bearing handguns.

They found a vehicle matching a description and stopped it on Caldwell Road in Cole Harbour.

Officers found up two pellet guns designed to look like handguns, and stolen property believed to be from a recent vehicle break-in.

Four teens aged 15 to 17 will appear in court in October.
