Teens wanted for stealing phones from subway riders in Brooklyn

Police have released video and photos of suspects wanted for stealing smartphones from subway riders on two separate trains just hours from each other.

The first incident on Feb. 21 occurred at 7:30 p.m. when a 28-year-old female subway rider was sitting on the northbound S train, authorities said. As the train arrived at the Park Place subway station, a group of four to five men allegedly snatched her Samsung Galaxy 5S out of her hand and fled.

About two hours later at 9:36 p.m. as a southbound 3 train arrived at the Nostrand Avenue subway station the group snatched an iPhone 6S out of the hand of a 20-year-old woman who was sitting on the train, according to police.

The suspects are described as black males, between 14 to 17 years old, 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall, and 130 to 140 pounds.

Surveillance videos show two of the individuals outside the stations and photos show two more individuals after the first incident.
