John Stamos, the uncle we all wanted but avoided a lot of potentially weird family gatherings by not having, confirmed the “Full House” sequel rumors that have been swirling since August to Jimmy Kimmel.

But “Fuller House” will be all about the ladies: Netflix said the 13-episode show would focus on D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron-Bure), now a veterinarian with two young sons, recently widowed and pregnant with her third child. To fill the house, her sister Stephanie and best friend Kimmy, plus teenage daughter, will move in to help look after the brood. Stamos will be a producer, but he’ll only appear as a guest star, same as much of the original cast, who are still in negotiations.

Now comes the real question: Will Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen take turns playing Michelle, or is there a separated-at-birth storyline to look forward to?
