The Hub Crawl 1/27: Celtics with huge comeback at Orlando

The Celtics were down 27 points at one point Thursday night, but a remarkable 15-1 run to start the fourth quarter sparked a phenomenal comeback as the Celtics beat the Magic for the second time in one week, 91-83, in Orlando.

Paul Pierce led the way for the Green with 24 points and 10 assists while rookie E’Twaun Moore contributed 16 points.

The win was the Celtics third straight victory as they sit at 8-9 on the 2011-12 season.

Red Sox: Boston has a one-year, $5 million deal for Roy Oswalt in place but the former Phillies pitcher has been hesitant to accept.

Bruins: Said Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick about goaltender Tim Thomas’ snub of President Obama at the White House this week:

“He’s a phenomenal hockey player and he’s entitled to his views,” Patrick said. “It just feels like we are losing, in this country, basic courtesy and grace.”
