The Celtics have been having trouble closing out games and that trend continued Wednesday night at TD Garden, but Boston was able to edge the Bucks, 102-96, to win its second straight game.
The Bucks went on a 13-0 run to come within two points with under a minute left but Kevin Garnett’s free throws gave the Celtics the advantage.
Rajon Rondo had his third triple double of the season with 15 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.
Rondo was mentioned in trade rumors reported by ESPN earlier in the day. A potential swap centered around Golden State’s Stephen Curry.
Michael Beasley was also mentioned in a rumored trade to Boston.
