Ingrid Betancourt and Diane Von Furstenberg are longtime friends and will be talking about Betancourt’s new fiction book, “The Blue Line.” If you can’t make it to the event, you can watch the livestream here. Book release with Anthony Schneider for “Repercussions” This is New Yorker by way of South Africa writer Anthony Schneider’s first novel, but early reviews are in and the news is good. “Repercussions” is about an activist who heads to South Africa to make a documentary about the country’s liberation, but while there, he discovers some unsettling family secrets.
