Billy Ray Cyrus wants more love in this world — even as the world begs his daughter to put her clothes back on.
While everyone else in the free world was freaking the eff out about Miley’s performance at the VMAs on Sunday (apparently it was in questionable taste or something?) Billy Ray Cyrus was just all “chill out, geez, take a God break” via Twitter.
Following Hannah Mount-ya-Tana’s butt-flapping VMA performance, in the wee early hours of Monday morning (probably because he was up trying to drown the memory of his daughter’s bare butt), he tweeted “Thanking God for so many blessings tonight. Continue to pray for world peace. More love …less hate.”
Not that there’s anything wrong with thanking the man upstairs for all his good twerk or anything, but does this talk of blessings in conjunction with his half-naked daughter prancing around on a stage remind anyone else of another leery stage father who was just a bit too cool with his daughter flaunting her budding sexuality?
