Chris Hemsworth looks like Brad Pitt with the kinks worked out. You would think he’d show off every inch of his Hemsworthian glory every chance he gets before the ravages of time rob him, and us all, of his beauty.
But the Australian actor is unexpectedly shy about his nude scenes in his new film, “Rush.”
“It was more daunting than the racing!” Hemsworth told People. “To take your clothes off in front of 100 people and cameras was something I wasn’t comfortable with. To be honest, it was embarrassing.”
Hemsworth should get all the mileage he can out of that bod, though — he’s put a lot of work into it. He lost 30 pounds of muscle to go from Thor size to human race car driver size, and his strict diet happened to coincide with his wife’s pregnancy.”My wife was pregnantwhen I was preparing for the film, and I had more symptoms of a pregnant woman than she did. I was hungry all the time and moody,” he said.
As long as he didn’t send his pregnant wife out on midnight pickles and ice cream runs, I still like him.
