Sara Gilbert, cohost of “The Talk” and former “Roseanne” star, said it was her “Roseanne” costar Johnny Galecki who helped her understand her sexuality. Namely, by making out with her.

“So, some of you may know that when I was a teenager I dated Johnny Galecki for a little while, who played my boyfriend and husband on ‘Roseanne.’ And I thought he was super cute and had a total crush on him and we started dating and he would come over and we would make out and then I would start to get depressed,” she said this week on “The Talk.”

Apparently, the current “Big Bang Theory” star took it very well when his girlfriend gave him the “It’s not you, it’s really, really me” talk.”Johnny felt badly, I think, and started to take it personally and didn’t know what was going on. So I eventually told him that I thought it was about my sexuality and he was super sweet about it.”

Gilbert said that Galecki kept her secret for years, with the rest of the show’s cast and crew oblivious. Maybe that’s how he got good enough at secrets to hide his two-year relationship with Kaley Cuoco until they broke up.
