Is it true? Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z to rock your body? The biggest summer blockbuster tour has (almost) been announced: There’s a good chance that Timberlake and Jay-Z will team up to out-cool a stadium near you.
“We’re definitely going to go on tour,” Timberlake told the New York Post on the Grammy red carpet Sunday. “I don’t know how much I should say.” Rolling Stone echoes this off-the-cuff remark, saying the powers that be are working on a 12-stadium tour. The tour will support Timberlake’s new album, “The 20/20 Experience” (featuring John Stossel … in our dreams). And, hey, since Beyonce is also going on tour this summer, Jay-Z needs to find ways to kill time.
The Word has thought of four possible titles for their tour name:
- Jay-Teez
- Big Pimpin’, Little N’Syncin’
- Young, Gifted and Black (and White)
- 99 Problems (But An Ugly Wife Ain’t One)
Meet Eau de Pizza Hut
Let’s cut to the chase on this item: Pizza Hut has launched a promotional perfume called Eau de Pizza Hut. The chain is giving away 24 bottles of the stuff. To get your own, send tweets to @PizzaHut with the hashtag “LastMinuteLovers.” Each package also includes a $20 Pizza Hut gift card for Big Pizza Sliders or Lovers Pizza. “The cologne has a slightly sweet base scent of freshly rising dough, but finishes decidedly savory with hints of Italian spice like oregano, vine-ripened tomato sauce, the crispness of fresh-sliced vegetables and all wrapped by wafts of cheesy goodness,” said Ashlee Firsten of Aromachology, a custom perfumery in New York, in a press release. “It’s really a quite complex combination of aromas that results in the hunger-inducing smell of a fresh Pizza Hut pizza.”
“Wafts of cheesy goodness”? Wasn’t that formula already patented for Debbie Gibson’s Electric Youth perfume?
