The Word: Prime time for Kardashian wedding day

A bit fatigued by wedding season? Well, break out the No-Doz as the biggest wedding the world has ever seen (since Prince William and Duchess Kate, of course) is about to hit the airwaves! Entertainment Weekly reports that the wedding between Kim Kardashian and her Cro-Magnon fiance Kris Humphries is being set up by E! as a two-night special — meaning four hours of prime-time viewing.

The couple plan to swap vows on Saturday, Aug. 20, but E! will air “Kim Kardashian’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event” on Sunday, Oct. 9, at 8 p.m and Monday, Oct. 10, at 9 p.m.

Four hours. That’s a lot of time to devote to people you don’t even know, America. But then again, you won’t be forced to do the Electric Slide. So maybe it’s a toss up?

Marriage advice only Ice-T and Coco could offer

Stars like Alexander Skarsgard, Larry David and Harry Shum, Jr. came out Wednesday night to fete the Sheepdogs, the winners of Rolling Stone magazine’s “Do You Wanna Be a Rock & Roll Star?” contest, at the Empire Hotel rooftop. The fan-voted contest awarded the Sheepdogs with a coveted cover story in the Aug. 18 edition of Rolling Stone and a recording deal with Atlantic Records.

We spied everyone’s favorite new reality TV couple, Ice-T and Coco, at the party and had to ask: How do they keep their marriage hot? Ever the lady, Coco cited communication as key as she gave her quite demure answer:

“I talk to him every single day,” she told Metro. “And whether it’s a problem or not, I bring it up to him, even if it starts a little tiff, I don’t care, at least it’s out of my mind. What women like to do is hold things in, and you’re gonna be a very unhappy person if you just hold things in. So get it out.”

Ice, on the other hand, had a different opinion on what keeps their relationship rolling: “Jungle sex,” he told us.
