The Word: Sheen earns ‘Violent Torpedo’ of booing

Well, finally a stage show is getting worse reviews than “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark” — it seems the first night of Charlie Sheen’s “Violent Torpedo of Truth” tour didn’t go down so well, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The former “Two and a Half Men” star faced boos, heckling and walk-outs from the sold-out Detroit audience. The loose, disjointed 70-minute show featured numerous video clips, including one of Sheen just playing the video game “Call of Duty.” It was a “thrown-together, insanely self-indulgent showcase,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. By the end, the action on stage was said to be drowned out by boos and catcalls. Sheen shrugged off the reception, saying, “I’ve already got your money.”

Money which will then go to his latest prostitute/drug dealer. Glad we’re all sinking cash into such a noble cause, guys.

Courtney Love: I’m no crackhead!

Courtney Love is striking back after Kelly Osbourne referred to Love as a crackhead on her E! show, “Fashion Police.” “Kelly knows I’m sober. Kelly knows there’s no drugs allowed at my house. I think it’s really lame,” Love said during a rant on video site VYou.com. The singer then turned the tables on Osbourne, saying, “Kelly Osbourne, I’ve saved her life twice. I’ve done CPR, I’ve put things in her boobs. [She was on] Oxycontin, cocaine, foaming at the mouth.”

Just in case I need to point it out yet again, here it goes: Celebrities are weird.
