Amy Schumer, Aidy Bryant thank Boston with Swan Boats selfie

Amy Schumer has spent a lot of time in the Boston area over the past few weeks during filming for her upcoming comedy “I Feel Pretty.” Now she finally got the chance to check out one of the city’s most popular attractions.

Over the weekend, Schumer took to her Instagram account to show Boston some love while also taking a ride on the Swan Boats in the Public Garden. The comedian wasn’t alone, as “Saturday Night Live” star Aidy Bryant, her “I Feel Pretty” co-star, accompanied her for the trek around the pond.

Schumer thanked the city by posting a sweet selfie aboard the bird-shaped boat on her Instagram account.

“[Aidy Bryant] knew our destiny was on a swan boat,” Schumer  wrote in the post. “We loved shooting here, Boston. Thanks for having us!”

IF YOU BELIEVE IT, YOU CAN ACHIEVE IT. Thank you Phil & @amyschumer for making this happen for me. I love Boston.

Aside from weekend Swan Boat trips, Schumer has been pretty busy during her stay in the Hub.

The actress filmed several scenes for “I Feel Pretty” in the South End as well as other parts of Massachusetts, including the new SoulCycle at Legacy Place in Dedham. Following the tragic events in Charlottesville, Schumer also organized a comedy benefit show in Salisbury, which featured performances by fellow comics Dave Attell and Rory Scovel.

“I Feel Pretty,” which stars Schumer, Emily Ratajkowski and Oscar nominee Michelle Williams, is set to hit theaters next summer.
