Get ready for a night of food, fashion and more in Cambridge this week.
CambridgeSide is hosting a special party on Thursday to celebrate the shopping center’s recent $30 million renovation. Dubbed Create Your Vibe, the event will feature offerings from local chefs and mixologists, as well as art and live music.
“We are excited to kick-off the new CambridgeSide with Create Your Vibe,” says Melissa LaVita, senior marketing director for CambridgeSide. “Shoppers will be thrilled to see our head-to-toe makeover all while enjoying fashion, art, food, cocktails, music and more. “
The party will include food and drinks from Dante, Bukowski Tavern, Café Art Science, Puritan & Co., Cafe Du Pays, Catalyst, Trina’s Starlight Lounge, The Smoke Shop, Mamaleh’s and Bambara. Create Your Vibe will also feature works by local artists, such as Abby Shepard, Jane Feigenson, Duncan Mischo, Brian Gordon, Erica Femino, Jeffrey Erler and Adam O’Day.
Boston rockers Bearstronaut and Animal Talk will be there to provide some tunes live along with local DJ Ryan Brown.
Tickets to the event are $20, and all proceeds will go to benefit Cambridge Arts Creative Marketplace, Dress For Success Boston and The Salvation Army Thanksgiving Food Baskets.
In addition to partying the night away, attendees will get the chance to see the newly renovated CambridgeSide. The popular shopping center has added a ton of new upgrades, ranging from new escalators and LED lighting to a revamped WiFI system, plus lush new seating areas.
CambridgeSide has gone through a bit of rebrand as well as New England Development, the real estate development and management company behind the center, has decided to drop Galleria from its official name.
