Kendrick Lamar pop-up shop stops in Boston this weekend

If you’re hoping to pick up some sweet swag to remember Kendrick Lamar’s performance in Boston this weekend, you’re in luck.

The Grammy Award-winning rapper is now jumping into the world of fashion with The Damn Pop-Up shop, which stops at Concepts in Cambridge on Saturday. The temporary merchandise set-up has been hitting the road with K. Dot as he makes stops across the country for his latest tour in support of his fourth studio album.

Lamar isn’t the first hip-hop star to use the pop-up concept to sell concert merch. Kanye West’s temporary shop drew huge crowds when it stopped in Boston last summer during his “Saint Pablo” tour.

The “Humble” rapper caused some lengthy lines when his pop-up made it’s way to Philadelphia earlier this week. Lamar even greeted his fans who were waiting to get into the shop, so there’s always a chance he makes a surprise appearance in Cambridge when his tour comes to the TD Garden this weekend.

Be prepared to dole out a bit of cash if you plan on purchasing any items from Lamar’s pop-up when it comes to town. According to a report by Billboard from the Atlanta stop, hats were selling for $35 while shirts were going for $40.
