Demi Lovato's summer house party tour touched down in Massachusetts this week, so of course the Patriots biggest partier Rob Gronkowski had to join the fun.
The pop star is hitting the road to promote her new single, "Sorry Not Sorry," and kicked off her slate of shows with an intimate performance in Lynnfield on Tuesday. According to the Boston Globe, 100 lucky fans got to watch Lovato croon – and Gronk show off his dance moves – after winning tickets from local radio station Kiss 108.
"You guys were incredible Boston!" the 24-year-old singer wrote in an Instagram post. "Nothing like performing in someone’s living room."
Not only did the Super Bowl-winning tight end get to live out his dream of being a back-up dancer for a music megastar, but he also ended up giving Lovato a piggyback ride during the Tuesday afternoon festivities.
The Patriots star later took to Instagram to thank the "Confident" singer, who wore his signature No. 87 jersey at the house party, for the invite. He even returned the favor by giving Lovato a special Gronk-style football.
Aside from his reportedly expensive casino night, the latest "Summer of Gronk" seems to be going pretty well so far. In addition to hanging out with Lovato, Gronk also recently roasted his pal Big Papi at the the Roast of David Ortiz in Boston, which featured appearances by Bill Burr and "Avengers" actor Anthony Mackie. The Super Bowl champ will dust off his comedy skills for another stand-up style show at Foxboro's Showcase Live next week.
