Lunar New Year at the MFA

Celebrate the Year of the Pig with the Museum of Fine Arts this weekend. The MFA is offering free admission all day on Saturday, so swing by to explore the museum’s collection of Asian artwork as well as enjoy dance performances by the Gund Kwok Asian Women Lion and Dragon Dance Troupe as well as martial arts demonstrations by Wah Lum Kung Fu and Tai Chi Academy. Guests can also take part in an interactive Korean New Year’s ceremony, a tea ceremony with the president of the World Tea Organization and more.

Mark Morris Dance Group: Pepperland

As part of the Celebrity Series of Boston, the Mark Morris Dance Group will bring a special show to the Hub this weekend. In honor of the 50th anniversary of The Beatles’ iconic album “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” the troupe will pay tribute to the record with a live dance and music performance.

Fans will get a chance to see him live once again as the comic returns to stand-up with his “Road to Nowhere” tour, which stops in the Boston area this weekend.

Drawing more than 50,000 fans each year, the New England Boat Show returns this weekend with over 600 of the latest boat models on display, plus hundreds of activities for boating enthusiasts of all ages.

Patriots Pride at Zoo New England
