From prix fixe menus to barbecue buffets, local foodies have a lot of options when it comes to where to eat on New Year’s Eve in Boston. Bid farewell to 2017 and ring in the New Year with these area restaurants.

Beat Brasserie

Enjoy live music and great food at Beat Brasserie’s New Year’s Eve Blues Explosion. The Harvard Square hotspot will kick things off with a special à la carte menu available between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. For $125 per person, guests can munch on foie gras pizza, crab cakes and more from the prix fixe menu, which will be available between 9 p.m. and 2 a.m. 13 Brattle St., Cambridge, beatbrasserie.com

Bistro du Midi

Located near the Public Garden, this local French restaurant is going all out with its New Year’s Eve offerings. Early birds who stop by Bistro du Midi’s first seating between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. will get to indulge on a four-course prix fixe menu for $95 per person, featuring items such as wagyu beef tartare, scallop crudo and king ora salmon. The five-course prix fixe menu for the second seating (8:30 p.m.-10 p.m.) will include similar offerings for $125 per person. Eastern Standard

This Fenway fine dining spot will be open at its regular hours (7 a.m.-2 p.m.) on Dec. 31. Eastern Standard’s full dinner menu will be available until midnight, so feast on items such as seared Maine salmon, bone-in ribeye and more to ring in the New Year. Meritage

Chef Daniel Bruce and chef de cuisine Keith Bombaugh have a special menu planned for New Year’s Eve. Fill up on seafood at this Seaport hotspot for New Year’s Eve. Row 34’s chef and owner Jeremy Sewall will once again be offering his annual pairing of Ossetra Caviar and NV Krug Grand Cuvee champagne at cost for one night only. 383 Congress St., Boston, row34.com

Head to chef Andy Husbands’ BBQ joint in Kendall Square for a whole lot of food and fun on New Year’s Eve.
