Wormtown teams up with Table Talk for new pumpkin beer

Now you can add another pumpkin beer to the list of fall brews to sip on this season thanks to the new Table Talk Pumpkin Pie Ale.

For the second year in a row, Worcester-based businesses Wormtown Brewery and Table Talk Pies have teamed up to create a special seasonal brew. The genius collaboration produced a tasty ale with everyone’s favorite fall flavor, pumpkin.

Table Talk Pies owner Harry Kokkinis tells Metro that fans will love the new beer’s “classic pumpkin pie taste.”

“It’s also not like other craft beers,” Kokkinis says. “It’s got a full body taste with a very smooth pumpkin pie flavor. It’s also not very heavy which people enjoy, and it doesn’t leave you with a bitter after taste.”

The launch of the new beer was celebrated with Table Talk Day at the Wormtown Brewery. Attendees had the chance to buy drafts, 22 oz. bottles and pints of the Table Talk Pumpkin Pie Ale as a special way to celebrate the debut.

Local breweries are well known for experimenting with their drinks and creating delicious results. There’s already a donut-infused porter and thanks to the area’s long history, a variety of pumpkin-flavored beers

What makes The Table Talk Pumpkin Pie Ale stand out is that it takes a Wormtown signature ale and infuses it with Table Talk’s actual classic pumpkin pie. The taste of “America’s favorite pie” makes for an irresistible brew.

Kokkinis hopes to experiment with other flavors in the future.

“Based on the success of the Pumpkin Pie Ale, we would love to get something going for the spring [or] summer,” Kokkinis says.

Bottles of the Pumpkin Pie Ale are now available for purchase at Wormtown Brewery. If you try the beer and love it so much that you want the world to know, you can also get your hands on a Table Talk Pumpkin Ale shirt.
