Apparate to the Library Bar for Hogwarts House cocktails

The Library Bar's cocktails themed to the four Hogwarts Houses, from left: Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Slytherin.

Harry Potter and his friends are all grown up in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and it’s safe to say they’ve earned a drink or two.

Though they — and probably you when you first read the books — were limited to Butterbeer in the stories, the Hudson Hotel (358 W. 58th St., Columbus Circle) has reimagined all four Hogwarts Houses as cocktails in honor of the Broadway play’s premiere.

Appropriately, the drinks were created by the hotel’s Library Bar and served within its Hermione-approved wood-paneled walls, big fireplace and high shelves of books. And yes, you can request a copies of the Harry Potter series along with your drink, so get there early enough to claim a comfy chair and settle in for the evening.

There’s no Sorting Hat here, so choose whichever drink best suits your night: Gryffindor (Lillet Rose, Campari, grapefruit, club soda), Hufflepuff (Cava, sugar cane syrup, ginger beer), Ravenclaw (bourbon, Pimms, Coke) and Slytherin (Hendricks gin, cucumber juice, St. Germain, simple syrup, lemon).

All of the cocktails are $15, but those lucky enough to have seen Harry Potter and The Cursed Child can show your ticket to get 25% off your tab.

Unlike the play, which is likely to remain on Broadway approximately forever, the cocktails will only be available through May 11.
