New York City welcomes back it’s famous New York City Craft Beer Festival! The festival is featuring around 75 different breweries and will have over 150 craft beers for attendees to taste. The festival has a focus on all things local and seasonal selections.

The event is taking place from Friday, November 1, and Saturday, November 2.  The event is be taking place at Union West, which is located at 535 W 28th St. 

Local brands, as well as big named brands, will all be in attendance. Here are a few of the breweries that will be attending the event: Guinness, Coney Island Brewing Co, Catskill Brewery, Lagunitas, and many more. 

At this event, you can find a brew for everyone, but besides beer tasting, the event will also have some craft spirits to explore!  

When it comes to tickets, you can purchase general admissions tickets, or you can buy VIP tickets per session. Tickets will cost you anywhere from $55 to $85.

On November 1, the event is offering an 8 p.m. session #1 for regular ticket holders, but VIPs can attend the event starting at 6 p.m. Session #1 ends at 10:30 p.m.  

On Saturday, they are offering two sessions throughout the day. VIPs for session #2 can start the event off at 1 p.m., whereas regular ticket holders can start the event at 2 p.m. Session #2 ends at 4 p.m. 

The last session taking place Saturday night will open at 6 p.m. to VIPs. General Admission folks can enter the event at 7 p.m. The final session ends at 9:30 p.m. 

The general admission ticket includes approx. 75 breweries, 150 craft beers, craft spirits tastings, food and vendors, retail shopping, a souvenir tasting glass, unlimited craft beer tastings, unlimited cider tastings, unlimited spirits tastings, and craft cocktails mixologist, Mcson Salicetti making some specialty cocktails. 

The VIP ticket includes the above items, and on top of those, VIPs will have:  early access, oyster hour with $1 oysters and a private bar which will be featuring rare craft selections and tasty cocktails served by mixologists!

In addition to regular tickets, there will also be a Designated Driver Program (DDP). The event will be selling DDP tickets at the box on the day of the event. This ticket will allow entry to the event but no alcohol service. The DDP ticker will cost $20 per person. 

It is also important to note that most items at the event will be cash-only. There is an ATM available, but if you want to skip the extra fees, cash is the way to go.
