There’s something special about summer in New York City, and just about everyone enjoys free outdoor movies in the park.

Many NYC parks turn into outdoor venues for movie screenings, while other venues such as art galleries or film centers open their doors for a free dose of summer screenings.

This summer, there are several films to check out all over the city, ranging from cult classics to romantic comedies to kid-friendly movies for the family.
