When does New York Fashion Week 2017 start?

Mark your calendars, because New York Fashion Week 2017 will take over the city in September.

Hundreds of fashion designers will showcase their latest collections for the Spring / Summer 2018 season. This also means the city will be buzzing with fashion editors, bloggers and photographers capturing the best style moments all week long.

According to NYFW press release, the NYFW 2018 Women’s Spring/Summer showcases will take place Thursday, September 7 – 13. Many of the shows will be held at Skylight Clarkson Square in Soho. Some designers will have showcases beginning as early as September 6 on Wednesday.

Expect to see collections from a host of well-known designers including Prabal Gurung, Tadashi Shoji, Noon by Noor, Jeremy Scott, Marchesa, Christian Siriano and others.

Actress Eva Longoria is making her New York Fashion Week debut and will present her Spring /Summer 2018 line from her Eva Longoria Collection – an affordable ready-to-wear line sold on her website.

This season, seven designers and brands will be featured during the MADE New York showcases during New York Fashion Week 2017 including Kim Shui, Priscavera and Maison the Faux.

In addition to the MADE New York showcase, NYFW will have a new presentation this year, showcasing international fashion designers called NYFW: First Stage.

If you’re not attending any of the industry and other big name showcases in Soho, there are plenty of NYFW events happening during the week that you can get tickets for. Fashion Week Online has a comprehensive NYFW calendar that lets you see what’s happening during Fashion Week and buy tickets and RSVP for events.

If the thought of you leaving your apartment to attend the fashion shows during New York Fashion Week is just too much, there will be several ways you can still get your fashion fix during Fashion Week: you’ll be able to watch live streams of select fashion shows on the Fashion Week Online and NYFW sites.
