Everything you need to know about New York Fashion Week 2018

Fall is just around the corner, and that means sweather weather — but not at New York Fashion Week 2018. Technically, it’s the Spring/Summer 2019 collections you’ll be seeing walk down the runway beginning this week as some of the world’s most innovative designers take over stages, nightclubs, restaurants and theaters around the city. 

This annual week-long event also brings the who’s who of the world’s of sports and entertainment to sit alongside the catwalk as hundreds of runway models don new looks from the biggest names in high fashion. Most notably, this fall’s Fashion Week will see the return of such big fashion house names as Proenza Shouler and Rodarte for thrilling new shows, as well as a party for Rhianna’s wildly popular lingerie line Savage x Fenty.

When is New York Fashion Week 2018? 

The official start of New York Fashion Week 2018 will be on Thursday, Sept. 6 with a preview event for Sachin & Babi. The final event will be on Thursday, Sept. 13 with a show from famed fur coat designer Helen Yarmark.
