Looking for a reason to escape the hustle and bustle of Center City? Plan a visit to Ardmore for their third annual restaurant week and see what this adorable Main Line town has cooking.
From July 17 through July 30, 18 restaurants are participating along Ardmore’s Main Street and will offer both $25 and $35 three-course meals. In addition, select eateries will offer 25 percent off appetizers during happy hour, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
For year three, six new restaurants are participating, including Maido, Pala’a, PokeOno, Ristorante Positano, Sam’s Asian Cuisine and The Beer Shoppe.

“Ardmore Restaurant Week is becoming one of our most popular events,” says Christine Vilardo, Executive Director of the Ardmore Initiative. “Ardmore has a reputation on the Main Line – and beyond – as one of the fastest growing dining destinations in the area. Ardmore Restaurant Week gives us a chance to celebrate established Ardmore favorites and introduce the ‘new kids on the block’. With choices from Mexican to Moroccan, you can eat somewhere special, and try something new each night.”

105 Coulter Ave.
Cuisine: This upscale casual Mexican chain serves up guacamole, tacos, enchiladas and more.
5 W. Lancaster Ave.
Cuisine: Local chain serving up healthy fare under 500 calories. Don’t leave without trying one of their fresh smoothies.
18 Greenfield Ave.
Cuisine: Casual spot offering hummus, salads, kebabs and other Mediterranean dishes.
47 E. Lancaster Ave.
Cuisine: Enjoy classic Chinese food at this established BYOB. Signature dishes include Mala Chicken with Szechuan peppercorn and a steamed tofu roll with mustard greens.
Iron Hill Brewery
60 Greenfield Ave.
Cuisine: This regional brewpub serves up a menu of burgers, “big” salads and entrees like fish and chips as well as crabcakes and flat iron steak.
34 E. Lancaster Ave.
Cuisine: Sip on craft beers and pub fare at this local bar/restaurant.
40 Rittenhouse Pl.
Cuisine: This BYOB makes fresh sushi daily with appetizers like edamame shumai and dumplings as well as sushi rolls like the soft shell crab roll, spicy scallop and eel cucumber. Limited seating is available.
Local Wine & Kitchen
39 W. Lancaster Ave.
Cuisine: Dig into modern American fare and charcuterie at this restaurant and wine bar. Be sure to try the cauliflower salad (chickpea, dried persimmon, whipped cumin feta, cucumber, fried leek) and the strawberry and asparagus tuna tartare (cucumber string salad, balsamic caviar, sesame oil).
5 E. Lancaster Ave.
Cuisine: This family-owned Japanese store has an eat-in food counter serving up home-style Japanese food offering everything from fresh salads to rice bowls to noodles to deep fried mackerel.
54 E. Lancaster Ave.
Cuisine: This fine-dining establishment has a menu focused on Moroccan and Mediterranean food. Enjoy tagine (stews served in earthenware pots chock full of meat and veggies), kebabs and more.
17 Cricket Ave.
Cuisine: This family-owned restaurant has been in business for over 75 years and is the Main Line’s oldest Irish pub. Their menu branches out however and you can order quesadillas and cheesesteak spring rolls in addition to more traditional pub fare.
Pala’a Latin American Seafood
18 West Lancaster Ave.
Cuisine: This brand new Latin American and Venezuelan seafood restaurant features a menu of empanadas, arepas, ceviche, patacon, house-made juices and more.
59 W. Lancaster Ave.
Cuisine: Love rice bowls? You’ve come to the right place. This hip fast-casual spot serves up Poke which are rice bowls topped with Hawaiian-style cubed and marinated fish and veggies. You can even build your own bowl.
21 W. Lancaster Ave.
Cuisine: Enjoy the delicacies of the Amalfi Coast without leaving the Main Line. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available and the menu includes pastas, chicken, beef and fish dishes.
Sam’s Asian Cuisine

Cuisine: This BYOB spot serves up authentic Malaysian and Japanese cuisine.
The Beer Shoppe

Cuisine: Drink your beer with a side of food at The Beer Shoppe. Enjoy Chicago hot dogs along with other American classics.
