Stuck on the waiting list for Diner en Blanc 2017 in Philadelphia? With over 43,000 on it, you’re certainly not alone. Pretty in PYNK Yards Brews Cruises

On August 17, the Spirit of Philadelphia’s Yards Brews Cruises is throwing an 80’s-themed prom party on a boat. The evening will feature Yards’ PYNK seasonal berry ale as well as a buffet-style menu with a live DJ as you mosey on down the Delaware River. Tickets begin at $51.90 per person and you must be 21 and older to attend.

 

Chestnut Hill Restaurant Week

 

From August 13 to August 18, Chestnut Hill (aka Philly’s Garden District), celebrates its 20th annual restaurant week. $15 lunches and $30 dinner options are available at restaurants like Paris Bistro, Mica and Tavern on the Hill.

If you don’t make the list, why not make a reservation at a Philly restaurant that also exudes ambiance — and has quite the view to boot! What could be better than seeing "La La Land" at a concert hall? Seeing it along with the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia playing the soundtrack. Led by conductor George Stelluto, tickets range between $25 to $80.
