On Saturday, Oct. 28, Philly Fights Cancer: Round 3 took place at the Navy Yard in Philadelphia. With 1,600 guests in attendance, the annual event featured performances from John Legend and the nine-time Grammy-award winning group, Earth, Wind and Fire.
Whoopi Goldberg hosted the event as Mistress of Ceremonies.
Since launching in 2015, Philly Fights Cancer has raised over $16 million to benefit Penn Medicine’s Abramson Cancer Center.
This years honorees were: Lynn M. Schuchter, MD Chief, Division of Hematology Oncology and C. Willard Robinson Professor of Hematology-Oncology and Tara Miller Melanoma Foundation.
