September is coming to an end and Halloween decorations are starting to appear. But that doesn’t mean that early fall activities need to immediately end. Before we bundle up in our scarves, dive head first into candy corn and start sewing our costumes lets take time to enjoy a few activities while the weather is still warm. Lit AF Tour with Martin Lawrence

Back by popular demand, this actor/comedian is ready to take Philly by storm. Coming off the 20th anniversary of Def Comedy Jam, Lawrence is returning to the stage to bring another round of his fresh, witty and hilarious material.

PSPCA’s drive-in movie at Main Line Animal Rescue 

PSPCA is hosting a movie night this Saturday and will be featuring the movie Miracle. Flyers legend Bernie Parent is hosting the night, plus there will be plenty of delicious treats including Revolution Taco and Stuff’d Buns food trucks. The evening will also include games, prizes, family fun and of course adoptable animals to meet! Tickets are just $10 for adults, $7 for kids and those 5 and under are free. Front and second-row seats are available for  $250 and $150 (includes six tickets) per car respectively.

Chestnut Hill Clam Bake

It’s time to party New England style. Expect live music, amazingly fresh seafood and a fully stocked bar. A new lineup of fall craft beers and local wines from Rosebank Winery will be available throughout the whole event. Clambake staples will be featured including gulf shrimp, little neck clams, Prince Edward Island mussels and local NJ corn on the cob.

Philly Vegan Restaurant week 

The last weekend for the first ever Vegan restaurant week in Philly, and you cannot miss the delicacies that local eateries have cooked up. Each prix fixe vegan menu is tastier than the last. A portion of the proceeds from the week will be donated to the Peace Advocacy Network, a Philadelphia-based organization that supports people in their journey toward a peaceful, vegan lifestyle.
