Three charged in murders

Police have charged two Langley men and a teenage girl in the shooting deaths of a woman and man who were killed within days of each other in seemingly unrelated incidents.

Robert Bradshaw, 26, and Roy Thielen, 30, face two counts of first-degree murder.

A 19-year-old woman is charged with one count of murder, but her identity is protected because she was a minor at the time of the shooting.

They are accused of killing drug dealer Laura Lynn Lamoureaux on March 14 and developer Marc Bontkes four days later.

Bontkes, 33, the father of a four-year-old son, was found murdered in the parking lot of Surrey’s Hi-Knoll Park, blocks away from where Lamoureaux was found dead.

RCMP Cpl. Dale Carr said both murders are linked to the street-level drug trade.

“After 16 months of investigation that took investigators to several provinces and communities … police presented Crown counsel with an evidence package … (and) Crown approved murder charges,” said Carr.
